PNC Survey Show Small Business Optimistic (Feb 24)-Broader Conception of Economy

You will be surprised by the positive information below as it relates to small business sentiment. The PNC report shows that small business is becoming increasing optimistic about their prospects and that is a good thing. It is important because small business can increase innovation, broader economic opportunities, and improve alignment to the market (i.e. rising investments, manufacturing, business, etc.). When developing a stronger national economic agenda small business will be central to developing emerging future businesses that attract investments.

Opportunities are rising at various levels through broader societal development. As we create more opportunities for entrepreneurs, middle, working, and creative classes we strengthen the foundation of capitalism by ensuring proper circulation of money and opportunity. It is that circulation which leads society to continue to adjust toward market alignment.

Organizations and nations that are market oriented are going to grow faster then those producing products that are not market aligned. From my theory development on economic clusters one might consider that a cycle of creative destruction occurs through reallocation of resources to their highest value (i.e. supply chain, service, manufacturing, skill, etc.). The theory is based in part on a broader implications within a small focused locality. A type of optimization grinded out through societal adjustments.

The process of adaptation makes little difference if we are talking about a cluster, a town, or a nation because they are based in human ability to make decisions to resolve challenges big and small. It is choice and wise decisions over assets that leads to economic growth and social enhancements (when given valued weight in decision making). We put our money and effort in the right places and we will grow and if we waste those resources, or can't make strategic decisions over them, then we will begin to shrink (Two important considerations is the need to improve economic growth opportunities and quality of life aspects of full national development.)
